Day 1 : Arrive to fes airport.

We will pick you up at the airport and we will take you to a hotel, where you can rest and spend the night.

DAY 2 : EXPLORING FES:

The second day to begings our 10 Days from Fes to Merzouga will be guided tour in Fez. The guided tour starts by visiting the Old Medina of fez and exploring the labyrinths of its narrow alleys. The guided tour then visits the Jewish Quarter (Mallah) and the Royal Palace. After that we visit the famous leather tanneries. Then we go to the Al Qarawiyin University, which is by the way the first university ever. Finally we will spend the night at the riad of hotel again.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi).

After we eat breakfast our tour takes us to a very beautiful ride, full of cedar forests towards Ifrane. We will stop again at Midelt, where we can see a beautiful moutain background. Then we will go through Tizi n’Talghamt road before we start to get the desert vibe with palm trees all over in Ziz Valley. We continue towards the desert passing by Arefoud and Rissani, a very huge oasis with more than 6 million palm trees. Finally, we will end the day in Merzouga, where we will be greeted with tea. We will ride the camels after that to the high dunes to catch the sunset and we will have dinner in the open with nomads playing music.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP

This day will start with touring the Great Sahara Desert on a 4×4 car, which goes through the difficult dunes so easily. Next stop is Khamlia where we will listen to Gnawa Desert music and learn about it more from the local musicians. Then we will visit some nomads and share a cup of tea with them. We will go back to the 4×4 and explore more of the Erg Chebbi dunes. After that we visit Erissani, which is a fortified fortress. After that we will return to Merzouga, but now we will do camel trekkinng with a guide that will help us explore the Sahara dunes. Finally we go to the Merzouga desert camp where you will enjoy desert music and a night at a fancy tent.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades valley and gorge.

Upon waking up, preferably very early to watch the sunrise and the beautiful colors that come with it. After that we will ride the camels and have breakfast before we head towards Tinghir and Toudra Gorges. The view there is stunning. The narrow, high canyons and the river are all combined to give us that beauty. Later during this day, we will leave Toudra towards Dades Valley and Dades Gorges. There we are going to have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Atlas Mount – Marrakech.

After we have our breakfast, we will have a ride through the villages and the fields in this area, which are mainly cultivated by women. We will be also accompanied by the beautiful sight of the High Atlas Mountains. Passing by the Roses Valley and Kasbahs of Skoura oasis, we will arrive at Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco. After we visit the cinematographic museum, we will head towards Ait Ben haddou, which is a World Heritage site and another favorite filming spot for movie directors. After that, we will drive in the high road of Tizi n’Tichka towards Marrakech, where we will stop at a Riad for dinner and sleep.

Day 7 : Visit of Marrakech

After eating breakfast, we will have a guided tour in the Red City. We will visit Bahia Palace and other places like Saadian Tombs in the morning. After we eat lunch, We will continue our guided tour to the ancient Koutoubia Mosque and Djemaa el-Fna square. The tour will conclude in the market (Souk), there you can discover the best works of Moroccan artisans and perhaps buy a souvenir. We will eat dinner in a Riad, where we’re going to also spend the night.

Day 8: Marrakech – Rabat

After we eat breakfast we depart towards Casablanca, which is the most important city in the Moroccan economy and it has also some of the most beautiful Moroccan architectures. There we will visit La Corniche (the beach) and the Hassan II Mosque. Afterwards we head towards Rabat the Capitol city. The main sights there are the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Minaret. We will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 9: Rabat – Meknes – Volubulis – Fez

After breakfast we will go to Meknes the city of the Sultan Moulay Ismail, there we are going to visit the main sights and buildings. After we leave Meknes, we will go to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, which is considered a world heritage by the UNESCO. We will finally stop at Fez in a Riad for dinner and the night.

DAY 10: Fes Airport

After breakfast our 10 Days from Fes to Merzouga ends.
