DAY 1 : TANGER

The Grand Morocco tour from Tangier gives us an Opportunity to explore the Morocco from Northwest to Southeast. The 11 days tour starts once we pick you up from the airport or your hotel. We will go after that on wonderful journey exploring the main sights of Tangier. Before, we spend the rest of the day in local Riad or hotel.

DAY 2 : TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN

This day will start by driving through the Rif Mountains and passing by Tetouan. We will stop at the Blue City Chefchaouen, this city has a Spanish style and the markets are full of gift shops. We can relax and have a meal at the roof of a restaurant, and after lunch we will go to a Riad to spend the night.

DAY 3 : CHEFCHAOUEN

This day has free program, so you can do whatever you want in Chefchaouen after you join us in a traditional Riad, where we will spend the night.

DAY 4 : CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES

After we have our breakfast we will drive towards Volubilis where we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of the area. Then we will head towards Meknes where we will do some sightseeing in one of the most important cities in terms of history. We will visit places like Bab Mansour, which is a huge gate, the Old Medina and Moulay Ismail shrine. After that we depart to Fez, where we’re going to spend the night in Riad.

DAY 5 : FES

The fifth day is dedicated to a guided tour in Fez. The guided tour starts by visiting the Old Medina of fez and exploring the labyrinths of its narrow alleys. The guided tour then visits the Jewish Quarter (Mallah) and the Royal Palace. After that we visit the famous leather tanneries. Then we go to the Al Qarawiyin University, which is by the way the first university ever. Finally we will spend the night at the Riad or hotel again.

DAY 6 : FEZ – IFRANE – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING.

After that we travel to the Atlas Mountains, Where we will visit two beautiful local cities the first is Ifrane dubbed the Switzerland of Morocco and the second is Azerou, which is known for cedar forrests and monkeys. After we leave these two cities and we will stop at Midelt a town that is ver known for minerals and high quality apples. The trip takes us after that to the Ziz Valley, and a town that is famous for fossils called Arefoud. Finally, before we reach Merzouga, we will pay a quick visit to Rissani. When we’re finally in Merzouga we will go to the desert camp on the back of camels and we will have all sorts of desert fun activities like camel trekking, watching the sunrise and sunset, listening to desert music, eating Desert food and spending the night in a tent.

DAY 7 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP

This day day will start with touring the Great Sahara Desert on a 4×4 car, which goes through the difficult like nothing. Next stop is Khamlia where we will listen to Gnawa Desert music and learn about it more from the local musicians. Then we will visit some nomads and share a cup of tea with them. We will go back to the 4×4 and explore more of the Erg Chebbi dunes. After that we visit Erissani, which is a fortified fortress. After that we will return to Merzouga, but now we will do camel trekkinng with a guide that will help us explore the Sahara dunes. Finally we go to the Merzouga desert camp where you will enjoy Berber desert music and a night at a fancy tent.

DAY 8 : MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

For this day our services manage an interesting program. Early in the morning, it’s customary that you wake up early to watch the desert sunrise, before you ride back to the village of Merzouga, where we will get breakfast and head towards Rissani. After that we will go to the tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco near the city of Tinghir, these are Toudra Gorges. After hiking the beautiful valley and eating traditional food, we will stay a little bit in Dades valley. We will spend some time in a hotel after that.

DAY 9 : DADES GORGES – KAALAT MGOUNA – OUARZAZATE

After eating breakfast we will go through Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna, which is a town known for roses. On the way we will see a thousand Kasbahs. And finally, we will visit Ouarzazate; the Hollywood of Morocco. There we will visit the movie studios and the famous Kasbah. The night will be spent there.

DAY 10 : OUARZAZATE- AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

Not so far away from Ouarzazate another famous filming site and also a world heritage, which is Ait Ben Haddo, a very big fortified Kasbah. Both are places that you can recognise from series like Game of Thrones and movies like The mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrance of Arabia… Then we will take Tizi n’Tichka road towards Marrakech. We will arrive late in the afternoon and we will stay for the night in a Riad.

DAY 11 : MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR

The ninth day is about Marrakech and visiting all its historical landmarks in the old medina. These include Djemma El Fna Square, The Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque…. we will also explore the modern part Gueliz. Finally our Grand Morocco tour from Tangier ends
