DAY 1 : FES – MIDLET – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT

Our 4 days tour from fez to merzouga is a very popular choice among the tourists. This 4 days trip from Fez to Merzouga Desert starts after we pick you up from your hotel. After that we travel to the Atlas Mountains, Where we will visit two beautiful Atlas cities the first is Ifrane dubbed the Switzerland of Morocco and the second is Azerou, which is known for cedar forests and monkeys. After we leave these two cities and we will stop at Midelt a town that is known for minerals and high quality apples. The trip takes us after that to the Ziz Valley, and a town that is famous for fossils called Arefoud. Finally, before we reach Merzouga, we will pay a quick visit to Rissani. When we reach Merzouga we will spend the night in hotel.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT CAMEL TREK AND OVERNIGHT IN MERZOUGA CAMP

The second day will start with touring the Great Sahara Desert on a 4×4 car, which goes through the difficult dunes so easily. Next stop is Khamlia where we will listen to Gnawa Desert music and learn about it more from the local musicians. Then we will visit some nomads and share a cup of tea with them. We will go back to the 4×4 and explore more of the Erg Chebbi dunes. After that we visit Erissani, which is a fortified fortress. After that we will return to Merzouga, but now we will do camel trekkinng with a guide that will help us explore the Sahara dunes. Finally we go to the Merzouga desert camp where you will enjoy Berber desert music and a night at a fancy tent.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

The day starts by watching the beautiful Sahara Desert sunrise, before riding the camels back to Merzouga. Then we will drive towards Tinghir so that we can visit Todra Gorges. These gorges are highest and narrowest in Morocco. After that we will visit Dades Valeey to see some the fascinating geology of the place. We will spend the night after that in a hotel or a riad and we’re going to eat some traditional food.

DAY 4 : DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATTE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH

After breakfast we will visit kalaat Magouna, which is very active economically, thanks to the production of roses. After driving through the road of a thousand Kasbahs, we will arrive at Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Morocco. Not so far away from Ouarzazate another famous filming site and also a world heritage, which is Ait Ben Haddo, a very big fortified Kasbah. Both are places that you can recognize from Game of Thrones, The mummy, Kingdom of Heaven and many other movies. Then we will take Tizi n’Tichka road towards Marrakech, where we will finish our tour from Fez to Marrakech.
