Then we will pass by two amazing valleys Dadaes and Roses valleys, situated in high mountains and also a very rich place in terms of agriculture. Rose’s valley gets its name from the huge amounts of roses that this region produces. This region even celebrates the roses by a festival that takes place at the end of April. You can buy all sorts of products that are related to roses in this region. Ouarzazate is considered the Hollywood of Morocco; the beautiful natural landscapes of the desert plus the old Kasbahs that date back to the 17th century have made this region a very attractive spot for filming historical movies. The movies that were filmed there include: Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Living Daylights (1987), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000) and Kingdom of Heaven (2005).
